Ibanez S470 is part of the revolutionary Ibanez S Class. Years ago, everyone "knew" that fat mahogany tone and sustain equaled weight and discomfort. Then the S changed everything.

The Ibanez S body is thin around the edge to give you great comfort, and thick around the neck, pickups and bridge to give you great tone.

Smoother than smooth. Ibanez's ZR tremolo system used on the Ibanez S470 features a ball bearing pivot system which allows ultra-smooth arm control. The pivot's precise movement virtually guarantees tuning stability.

Ibanez's Zero Point System stabilizes the bridge and ensures tuning stability by consistently returning the tremolo to the cen-ter point (or zero point). In addition to the usual tremolo springs, the Zero Point system features two additional springs which force the bridge to return to the center point.

The new Ibanez S470 offers a ZR double-locking tremolo bridge, two Ibanez INF humbuckers and a Ibanez INFS single coil, a mahogany body, maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard and cosmo black hardware.
